Through the 2024-25 season, the Los Angeles Lakers have had a total of 506 players suit up for them, going back to their days in Minneapolis. Some were forgettable, some were serviceable, some were good and a select few were flat-out legendary.

During the Lakers' 80th season of existence (they were founded back in 1946 as the Detroit Gems in the National Basketball League), LeBron Wire is taking a look at each player who has worn their jersey, whether it has been a purple and gold one or the ones they donned back in the Midwest during their early years.

Thomas Robinson came into the NBA as the No. 5 pick in the draft just after he had been named the Big 12 Player of the Year at the University of Kansas. But he failed to live up to his potential in the pros. After his first four seasons, which he spent with five different teams, he came to the Lakers as a free agent in 2016.

He played one season with them and averaged five points and 4.6 rebounds in 11.7 minutes per game. In the years that have followed, the 6-foot-10 power forward has played for a number of teams in the Eastern Conference. He's currently a member of the Cangrejeros de Santurce of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional in Puerto Rico.
