One of the best possible matchups in women's MMA today will serve as the co-main event of UFC 324.
In a battle of former American Top Team stablemates, Kayla Harrison will put her bantamweight title on the line against returning UFC Hall of Famer Amanda Nunes. UFC 324 takes place Saturday, Jan. 24, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and serves as the first pay-per-view event of the Paramount era.

Harrison (19-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) will aim to defend her 135-pound crown for the first time after taking the division's throne from Julianna Peña at UFC 316. The pairing against Nunes is a fight she expected after they faced off in the cage in June. Harrison's current four-fight winning streak includes defeating Aspen Ladd in her final PFL bout, submitting Holly Holm in her UFC debut, and winning a unanimous decision against Ketlen Vieira to earn a title shot in just her third UFC fight.
Nunes (23-5 MMA, 16-2 UFC) comes out of retirement to take on a former teammate in a fight high on MMA fans' wishlist. "The Lioness" retired in 2023 after defending the women's bantamweight title against Irene Aldana at UFC 289. The former two-division champion was the headliner of the 2025 UFC Hall of Fame class this summer. She indicated her intentions of returning to action during a fan Q&A at UFC 316, and clarified it would not be just for one fight.
The current UFC 324 lineup includes:
