The San Francisco 49ers delivered a gut punch of a defeat to the Carolina Panthers on Monday. But it would be a literal punch from a Panther, one which landed a bit more south, that stole the headlines at the end of the night.
On a rushing play during the final drive of the 20-9 loss, safety Tre'von Moehrig struck 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings directly in the groin. Then, as soon as the last seconds ticked off the clock, Jennings got a shot back to Moehrig's face and had to be restrained.

Unfortunately for Moehrig and the Panthers, Jennings had quite a bit to talk crazy about—as he finished the outing with five catches for 41 yards and a touchdown.
