After spotting Philadelphia 21 points thanks to their own sloppy play, the Dallas Cowboys turned things around and came away with a resilient win. The Week 12 contest was a thriller that saw an alignment of offensive and defensive efforts against a top opponent for the first time all season.
It was a signature victory for head coach Brian Schottenheimer, but despite the success on both sides of the line of scrimmage, the play of the game was made on special teams by safety Alijah Clark. The effort and hustle on the play by Clark embodied the spirit of the Cowboys in the win.

The Cowboys weren't able to put points on the scoreboard thanks to a bad drop from wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and a failed fourth down attempt.
However, Clark's tenacity and long snapper Trent Sieg's hustle (which shouldn't be forgotten), did put the team in position to win. Thankfully, the defense got a stop after a sack by Osa Odighizuwa, then quarterback Dak Prescott, WR George Pickens and kicker Brandon Aubrey helped finish off the comeback, and the Eagles, as time expired.

The win is also tied for the largest comeback in team history and ties the biggest blown lead by a defending Super Bowl champion.
Finally, to put a bow on the records, Pickens surpassed the 1,000-yard mark in the contest, taking him just 11 games to accomplish the feat. According to the Cowboys' public relations department, that's something only five other receivers have done in team history. Pickens joined Lamb, Terrell Owens, Michael Irvin and Bob Hayes in the accomplishment.

It might not have been the game-winning play, but Clark's effort was the play of the day for the Cowboys. And although it didn't turn out to be the game-altering play it could've been, it was the best moment in a contest full of memorable plays.
