A day after the Cowboys thrilling come from behind victory over the Eagles, Dallas is now dealing with the fallout which includes the loss of a key member of their offensive line.
According to multiple reports, left tackle Tyler Gutyon is dealing with a high ankle sprain and is likely to miss the Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Guyton exited the game late in the third quarter and was listed as questionable to return by the broadcast team.

Against Philadelphia, Guyton was called for a false start penalty just as Dallas was poised to punch the ball into the end zone after falling 14-0 and was later was called for a tripping penalty on the Cowboys fourth drive of the game.
He is now tied for the fourth-most penalties throughout the league.
If Guyton is indeed out, that would pave the way for Nate Thomas to start his second game at left tackle for the Cowboys. Thomas started one game for Dallas, a week five win against the New York Jets.

As the season progresses, so can players. Against Philadelphia, Thomas played 31 snaps and recorded a 77.1 pass blocking grade including a 68.1 overall grade which allows for some breathing room for Dallas.
There had been whispers about the team wanting to get Thomas some playing time and with Guyton suffering his second serious of the season — his first during training camp which threatened the start to his year, Thomas might not let go of that starting spot if he can prove to be just as productive with less penalties.
