The Seattle Seahawks might have gotten a win on Sunday, which is the most important thing, as they're currently in second place in the NFC West with an 8-3 record after the Los Angeles Rams dismantled the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during Sunday Night Football.

Still, the win for Seattle wasn't all sunshine and rainbows.

The Seahawks had an opportunity to beat the Tennessee Titans with ease, perhaps even giving their starters some time off in the second half, but failed to do so, winning just 30-24.

The Titans might not be as bad as their 1-10 record shows, as they’re still an NFL team at the end of the day, and teams have to come out and take care of business against them, but it didn't sound like the Seahawks had their foot on the gas.

When speaking to reporters after the game, Devon Witherspoon, one of the stars on the loaded Seahawks’ defense, wasn't too happy with how his team looked.

“I think we played all right,” Witherspoon said in a postgame press conference. “I mean, I don’t think we played to our standard. We gave up too many points, to be honest… we was letting the quarterback get outside, we wasn’t plastering, staying on our man, and they was able to create plays when they needed them.”

“In the end, it boiled down to all being a close game,” Witherspoon said. “So it’s like we got to be better on defense for sure.”

While the frustration is fair from Witherspoon, again, it's important to remember they still won the game.

All the Seahawks can do is flush this down the drain and look to improve over the next six weeks. Games won't get any easier, as they'll be playing a playoff team every single week outside of the Atlanta Falcons game in two weeks.
