Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy spoke with reporters on Tuesday during his press conference and weighed in on the improved Dallas Cowboys defense ahead of Thursday’s matchup.
“Well, you can see from evidence of this last game how tenacious they (Cowboys defense) are. That defensive line, they fly around. Their defense right now is playing with a lot of confidence,” said Nagy, “Anytime you get into these short weeks or short days, hours, you’re trying to get as much as you can and see what you can, and you just see on tape that they fly around. I have a lot of respect for Coach (Cowboys Defensive Coordinator Matt) Eberflus on what he does on defense. I think the biggest thing is again, I know they have given up points early in the year, but I think right now when you watch the film, you see they’re flying around, and they just had a heck of a game against Philadelphia.”

The unit, led by former New York Jets defensive lineman Quinnen Williams and linebackers DeMarvion Overshown and Logan Wilson, held Philadelphia in check to shut them out for most of the last three quarters in last Sunday’s comeback victory.
