New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson has been selected as the team's nominee for the prestigious 12th annual Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award, the NFL announced on Wednesday.

This honor recognizes players who exemplify outstanding sportsmanship through fair play, respect for the game and opponents, and unwavering integrity in competition.

Named after the late Pittsburgh Steelers founder and Pro Football Hall of Famer Art Rooney Sr., the award -- established in 2014 -- celebrates those who uphold the sport's highest ideals. Robinson's nomination underscores his on-field demeanor and commitment to the game's spirit, making him a standout among his peers.

A distinguished panel of former players, including 2014 recipient Larry Fitzgerald, Pro Football Hall of Famer Curtis Martin, Warrick Dunn, and Leonard Wheeler, will choose eight finalists -- four from each conference. These finalists will appear on the Pro Bowl ballot under the NFL Sportsmanship Award category for fan and player voting in December.

"Sportsmanship is at the very core of the game, the foundation of our values that are shared across all levels of the sport," said Troy Vincent, NFL executive vice president of football operations. "These Rooney Sportsmanship Award nominees demonstrate to the world how the game is played with respect and integrity at the highest level of competition."

The winner, determined by a consensus vote of current NFL players (with no self-voting for teammates), will receive a $25,000 donation from the NFL Foundation to a charity of their choice and be celebrated at the NFL Honors ceremony. Recent winners include Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen in 2024 and Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner in 2023, continuing a legacy that began with Fitzgerald.

Robinson, a dynamic fourth-year pro out of Kentucky, has been a key contributor to the Giants' offense despite constant quarterback turnover. His nomination reflects not just athletic prowess but a character that inspires across the league, positioning him as a role model for aspiring players everywhere.
