Alabama football heads to The Plains to close the 2025 regular season Saturday in another high-stakes Iron Bowl showdown with the Auburn Tigers at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Alabama (9-2 overall, 6-1 SEC) is ranked No. 10 in the US LBM Coaches Poll and in the latest CFP rankings. Coach Kalen DeBoer's team can clinch a berth in the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta with a win Saturday.

Alabama needed two spectacular comebacks against the Tigers to emerge victorious and keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive in 2021, and most recently in 2023. The Tide got them thanks to the heroics of Bryce Young, Jalen Milroe and others, pulling out a 24-22 win in four overtimes in 2021, and a 27-24 win in their last visit to Jordan-Hare.
Auburn (5-6, 1-6) is unranked entering this year's Iron Bowl, but all six of the Tigers' losses this season have been by 10 points or less. Interim coach D.J. Durkin had Auburn playing well in a 45-38 overtime loss to Vanderbilt in Nashville on Nov. 8, and last week in the Tigers' 62-17 win over Mercer.
As we've seen in the past, anything can happen when Alabama and Auburn meet, especially on The Plains.
