He took the opportunity to respond to his critics. The former PSG star called on Madrid fans to stay united in the face of negative commentary.

"For me, the team is doing well. There are things we can improve. Outsiders will always talk—when you play for Real, that's normal. But we have to protect ourselves: the players, the coach, and the technical staff. All together, we're not against those on the outside, we're united with the fans who support us. We should be proud and give everything for the badge. We're going to play to win a lot this season," the Frenchman told Movistar.
