The New York Knicks saw their offensive humming against the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, and even set a little franchise history in the process.

The Knicks had a strong first half against the Hornets on Wednesday, scoring 72 points, and having all five starters — Jalen Brunson, Miles McBride, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, and Karl-Anthony Towns — score in double digits in the first half.

Per Stefan Bondy of the New York Post, it is the only time since at least before 1996-97, when they started tracking halftime and quarter stats, that the Knicks have had all five starters in double figures at the halftime break.

The Knicks offense is still very much a work-in-progress under head coach Mike Brown, but they’ve shown flashes of greatness so far in the early part of the season. If Wednesday’s performance is any indication, the Knicks’ offense could be turning a corner at a pivotal point in the season.
