The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report in advance of their Week 13 Black Friday home game against the Chicago Bears.

The Eagles listed four players under DID NOT PARTICIPATE: DeVonta Smith, Lane Johnson, Andrew Mukuba, and Xavier Gipson.

Smith was listed under DNP for the second day in a row. Typically, players don’t play after missing two straight practices. But Smith had “illness” added to his injury status on Wednesday. So, maybe he would’ve at least been limited if he wasn’t sick? Maybe he’ll get some work in on Thursday before playing on Friday. We’ll see.

Lane Johnson will not play this week. The Eagles seem to hope that he might be able to return to action in Week 15. Fred Johnson will continue to start at right tackle.

Mukuba was placed on injured reserve. The Eagles will seemingly start Sydney Brown at safety in his absence.

Gipson watched Wednesday’s practice from the sideline. Maybe he’ll avoid going on IR? Really no need to be using a roster spot on him even if healthy, though. Especially now that Britain Covey is back on the roster.

The Eagles listed four players under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Saquon Barkley, Reed Blankenship, Landon Dickerson, and Brandon Graham.

Barkley was limited for the second day in a row. Guessing he’ll play but seems like a good spot to utilize him a bit less and get Tank Bigsby more involved.

Blankenship seems to be toughing it out with Mukuba going on IR. The Eagles currently have no full-time safeties behind Blankenship and Brown on the active roster.

Dickerson will seemingly play despite being less than 100%.

BG was upgraded from DNP to limited. Seems like he’ll give it a go on Friday.

The Eagles listed two players under FULL PARTICIPATION: Willie Lampkin and Myles Hinton.

Adoree’ Jackson was removed from the injury report after being listed with a “gameday concussion protocol evaluation” description on Tuesday. He’s officially set to be CB2.

Lampkin’s 21-day practice window to return from injured reserve was opened on November 6. The Eagles soon have to either activate him to the roster or shut him down for the season. Guessing it’ll be the former.

Hinton’s 21-day practice window to return from injured reserve was opened on November 19. The Eagles don’t need to rush to activate him to the roster.
