The Milwaukee Bucks could use Giannis Antetokounmpo back in the mix.
Since the superstar front-court player hit the injury report, the Bucks have struggled to climb out of their recent losing ways. During Giannis’ final two games before his setback, the Bucks went on a two-game losing streak. They haven’t picked up a win since.
When the Bucks released their injury report on Tuesday night, Antetokounmpo was upgraded to questionable. He seemed to be recovering well from his left adductor strain.
...Will Giannis Antetokounmpo Return against the Miami Heat?
While the Bucks considered a potential return for Antetokounmpo on Wednesday, he has been officially ruled out. Milwaukee will attempt to bounce back without its top star once again.

Giannis started the 2025-2026 NBA season off with an MVP-caliber stretch. Through his first four games, Antetokounmpo averaged 36 points, 14 rebounds, and 7 assists. He was making nearly 70 percent of his shots from the field and draining 57 percent of his threes.
Prior to his recent absence, Antetokounmpo managed to miss only two games. During his 13th showing of the year, he would leave the game after 13 minutes. The initial thought was that Giannis could miss several weeks of action. Fortunately, he seems to be making good progress.
This year, Giannis is averaging a little over 30 points, while shooting 62 percent from the field and 50 percent from three. He is producing a double-double on average, with 10.8 rebounds per game. In addition, he is dishing out 6.8 assists, blocking 1.2 shots, and coming up with nearly 1.0 steals.
The Bucks and the Heat are slated for a 7:30 PM ET tip on Wednesday night. The 8-10 Bucks are looking to climb out of a five-game hole, while the Heat are hoping to extend their current winning streak to six games in a row.
