Sadly, not many fans of the acclaimed universe have been able to catch up on the series since its release, as AMC is not easily accessible worldwide. However, that's about to change, as Talamasca is officially coming to Netflix sooner than you imagine, but there's a little catch.
Per CBR, as part of an expanded pact with AMC announced earlier this year, Talamasca will be added to Netflix's library in a few weeks, building on their 2024 deal that brought most of the network's popular shows to the streamer in the U.S. All six episodes of Season 1 will arrive on Netflix internationally on December 1, 2025, with countries like the UK, most of Europe (including the Netherlands, France, Spain, and Germany), and Latin American regions like Brazil and Mexico benefiting.
Sadly, fans in the U.S. won't be enjoying this treat anytime soon, as it has been confirmed that Talamasca won't be released on Netflix U.S. in December, like in international territories. Instead, per a press release, "The next Anne Rice series, Talamasca: The Secret Order, will also become available next year." So, without a precise date, we can expect the thriller in the States at any time throughout 2026. Meanwhile, news of the show's Netflix debut happening so soon is indeed a shocker, given that it just wrapped up with its series finale on November 23, 2025, meaning Netflix is getting it just a week after it airs.
What Do You Know About 'Talamasca'?
Based on Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles and Lives of the Mayfair Witches, Talamasca centers on the mysterious, titular, and shadowy organization that has observed, documented, and protected the human world from witches, vampires, spirits, and other supernatural forces for centuries. The story follows recruits drawn into the Order's hidden archives and haunted investigations, where ancient secrets, dangerous powers, and uneasy alliances blur the line between watcher and participant. Starring in the supernatural drama are Nicholas Denton as Guy Anatole, Celine Buckens as Doris, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Olive, William Fichtner as Jasper, and Elizabeth McGovern as Helen, with Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy and Jason Schwartzman as Burton appearing as special guest stars.
Talamasca just finished airing on AMC and will soon arrive on Netflix. Stay tuned to Collider for future information.
