The Tennessee Titans have made a roster move in their secondary ahead of their Week 13 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars by adding a cornerback with some draft pedigree to the roster.

The Titans have signed veteran cornerback Kaiir Elam to the 53-man roster and waived cornerback Samuel Womack III in a corresponding move.

Elam entered the league as a first-round pick (23rd overall) of the Buffalo Bills in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Florida, and has since spent time with the Bills and the Dallas Cowboys. The 6-foot-1, 191-pound cornerback has seen action in 39 games (19 starts) between the Bills and Cowboys and accumulated 110 tackles and two interceptions.

Elam never met expectations with Buffalo and was traded during the offseason to the Cowboys, and played 460 snaps before being released. He will now join a secondary that is thin on experienced depth.

Elam will replace Womack, who was claimed off waivers prior to the start of the 2025 season. In all, he saw action in five games with the Titans and made one start.
