On Wednesday, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers addressed the media about his injured wrist and his status for this week's game against the Buffalo Bills. Rodgers missed last week's loss to the Chicago Bears and Mason Rudolph started in his place.
This week, Rodgers is hoping he can get on the field. "I wasn't able to go last week," Rodgers said. 'I'm hoping for a different outcome this week." Rodgers noted that the biggest difference for him is just time and getting an extra week to rest it could make the difference. Rodgers was injured in the first half of the Steelers game against the Cincinnati Bengals two weeks ago.
Rodgers was questionable going into last week's game, but head coach Mike Tomlin noted that it was his decision to make the call not to play him. This week, with the season on the line essentially, it might be a different story and Rodgers, even with a cast on his wrist, could go.
