By James BrizuelaShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberBaltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is coming off a strong campaign in 2024 that nearly led to his third MVP win. However, 2025 has been far different, as the dual-threat passer has been hit with multiple injuries.

For the last three weeks, Jackson has emerged on the injury report with knee, ankle, and toe injuries. Strangely, he would appear on the injury report, only to be taken off and ready to play. Despite the odd nature of the injuries not appearing serious, they may be affecting him more than the Ravens are letting on.
One of the glaring differences in the way Jackson has played is his inability to run the ball. After his hamstring injury, the star Ravens signal caller went from 48 yards on the ground to not getting above 40 in his last three games. Granted, he is not a running back, but getting 10 and 11 yards rushing in his last games is low, even for him.
Another alarming aspect of Jackson's current trajectory is that he has not had a touchdown in the last two games. During Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings, he only had one.
Jackson appears to be having an up-and-down season that might be attributed to his multiple injuries.
Jeremy Fowler and Dan Graziano broke down some of the biggest news and rumors around the league on ESPN, and Jackson's health has been called into question. In fact, scouts watching him have indicated that he is playing through a decent amount of discomfort.

"Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has been on the injury report the past three weeks with knee, ankle and toe injuries -- all of this after missing three games in October with a hamstring injury. Scouts who've watched Jackson say he looks like he's playing through discomfort -- reluctant to run in key spots and out of rhythm with his throws.
"The Ravens have won five games in a row after a 1-5 start to surge into first place in the AFC North and can pretty much finish off the Bengals on Thursday night. Then they get 10 days off ahead of their first of two critical late-season matchups against the Steelers. The Ravens' hope is that the mini-bye coming up will be a good chance for Jackson to get a little bit healthier for the stretch run, but it's likely the team will be managing him through practice weeks with additional rest for the remainder of the season," Graziano wrote.
It does make sense that Jackson would be affected by injuries, considering he has appeared on the injury report three times in the last three weeks. However, the nature of how these injuries are affecting him might be far worse.
Jackson is still a dangerous quarterback, regardless of injuries. The Ravens are on a five-game winning streak, and they are looking to extend that streak on Thanksgiving against the Cincinnati Bengals.
The hope for the Ravens might be that Jackson can emerge as his normal dual-threat self. Should he have another underwhelming game, that might prove that he is dealing with injuries that are bringing down his play significantly.
