The Dallas Cowboys are coming off their biggest win of the NFL season in Week 12, when they overcame a 21-point deficit against the Philadelphia Eagles and pulled out a 24-21 victory on a last-second field goal from kicker Brandon Aubrey.

Now sitting at 5-5-1, the Cowboys have recorded back-to-back wins heading into Thursday’s afternoon showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs (6-5).

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott has been firing on all cylinders with WR George Pickens, but there still seems to be room for improvement for WR CeeDee Lamb. Lamb hauled in four receptions for 75 yards against the Eagles but has struggled with drops at times this season — an issue he addressed postgame after dropping four passes versus Philadelphia.

“You just find ways to get better,” Lamb said. “You want to be solution-oriented and not really to dwell much on the problem. Granted, we know the problem, I need to catch the [explicit] ball. Other than that, man, we’ll be fine. When I do catch it, be ready.”

Prescott, however, isn’t worried and made a bold prediction for what Lamb will do Thursday against the Chiefs.

“Huge game,” Prescott said. “Just go back and look at the career, right? Any game that maybe he’s not done to his standard or had a drop here or been a frustrating game, the way he’s responded has been unquestionable. I know early in this year, it was the same way from the first time we played them to his next game, I don’t expect this to be any different.”

Lamb has still had a solid season in the eight games he has played, despite leading the league in drops. He has recorded 44 receptions for 632 yards and two touchdowns, while Pickens has already surpassed 1,000 yards on the season and totaled eight touchdowns.
