A cinematic obsessive with the filmic palate of a starving raccoon, Rob London will watch pretty much anything once. With a mind like a steel trap, he's an endless fount of movie and TV trivia, borne from a misspent youth of watching monster movies on TV, perusing the sun-faded goods at the local video rental shop, and staining his fingers with ink from the Video Movie Guide. Areas of interest include science fiction, film noir, horror flicks, '70s disaster pictures, Bond movies, '90s action, giant robots, dinosaurs, super heroes, and the exuberantly schlocky output of Cannon Films. He also enjoys both Star Trek and Star Wars when they're good, and maybe even more when they're bad. As a Canadian, he also has a vested interest in Canadian movies and TV shows, especially the cheesier ones dubbed "Canuxploitation."
An expert on Marvel Comics, he has also written for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, and is a member of the Marvel Research Team. He can frequently be found pontificating on comic-book continuity or bemoaning the misfortunes of the Toronto Maple Leafs on his Twitter account.

After escaping from the Grid earlier this fall, Tron: Ares is racing to its digital release date. Today, Collider has an exclusive look at one of the film's special features included in the home release, featuring conversations with the film's cast. Tron: Ares will be available to rent or own digitally on December 2, 2025, and on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K on January 6, 2026.
In the new clip, Greta Lee calls Tron "the coolest franchise of all time," and asks co-star Jodie Turner-Smith if she was nervous to star in the film; while she was, she also found the experience "incredible." Meanwhile, star Jared Leto (who also produced the film) discusses his boyhood Tron fandom with original Tron star Jeff Bridges, who has now appeared in all three films of the franchise. Bridges, for his part, finds it "surreal" to be back on the Grid, 43 years after making the first film. Want more? You'll have to purchase Tron: Ares when it hits the real digital world next month.
Who Else Stars in 'Tron: Ares'?
Leto plays the titular Ares, a sentient program from the digital world of the Grid, who is brought into existence in the real world by sinister tech bro Julian Dillinger (Evan Peters), who wants to use him as a super-soldier. He'd prefer to choose his own destiny, and he finds an ally in Dillinger's rival Eve Kim (Lee), who wants to harness the digital world of the Grid for peaceful purposes. They're on the run from Dillinger and Ares' fellow program, Athena (Turner-Smith), who has no qualms about her own purpose. Eve and Ares' only hope may be Kevin Flynn (Bridges), the first human to enter the Grid. The film also stars Hasan Minhaj and Arturo Castro as Eve's colleagues, Gillian Anderson as Julian's mother, and Cameron Monaghan as another program from the Grid.
Tron: Ares is the third film in the Tron franchise. It began with 1982's Tron, which was written and directed by Steven Lisberger; although not a huge success, it eventually developed a cult following for its cutting-edge special effects. In the film, Flynn is a computer programmer who's sent to the Grid by a corporate rival. It was followed by 2010's Tron: Legacy, which was the directorial debut of Joseph Kosinski; it follows Flynn's son, whose search for his long-missing father takes him into the Grid.
Tron: Ares will be available to rent or own on digital on December 2, 2025, and on DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K on January 6, 2026. Stay tuned to Collider for future updates.
