When does the Fortnite Chapter 7 start is a question we now have the answer to, as it will be kicking off on November 30, 2025. As always, you can expect plenty of big changes when a fresh chapter launches, so alongside a brand new map to explore there will no doubt be updated mechanics and plus both familiar and new faces to meet.
Epic aren't known for resting on their laurels and are always planning the next stage of development in Fortnite, so there will certainly be more changes brought in during the course of the upcoming chapter and beyond. If you're looking to the future and wondering what Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 may have in store, then here's everything we know about it so far.
When does Fortnite Chapter 7 start?
The Fortnite Chapter 7 release date has now been confirmed as Sunday November 30, 2025, through official and in-game announcements. This tallies with the information displayed for the Fortnite The Simpsons Battle Pass, as seen on the official website and the in-game Battle Pass screen, which states that the current Battle Pass will end on November 29 at 2pm EST.
This means that Chapter 7 will launch after that on November 30, following the big chapter finale Fortnite live event. This also means that the Fortnite servers will be down for an extended period of time, as the new chapter will start the day after the event concludes.
What will be the biggest changes made for Fortnite Chapter 7?

One of the biggest things to note for Fortnite Chapter 7 is the involvement of Quentin Tarantino, alongside Uma Thurman reprising her role of The Bride from the Kill Bill movies. There is a strong Kill Bill influence for Season 1, as it features Yuki Yubari, a character who was ultimately dropped from the final cut of Kill Bill Vol. 1. Their chapter would have been titled "Yuki's Revenge", and now this lost chapter can play out in Fortnite.

In fact, prior to the launch of Fortnite Chapter 7 you can unlock the Yuki Yubari outfit for free, by logging in between November 27 @ 6am PST / 9am EST / 2pm GMT and the same time on December 1. This will be received immediately and ready for use.

Epic have also shared a teaser image for the upcoming Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1, with lots of details included. Alongside Uma Thurman as The Bride from Kill Bill, we can also clearly see Michael J Fox as Marty McFly from Back to the Future, with what looks like it could be the clocktower from Tilted Towers behind him. Other details player have spotted include the character on the bottom right screen holding what appear to be Lego Ninjago nunchaku, the appearance of The Seven logo on the displays, and a Golden Cube reflected in the helmet of the central character.

From another teaser clip, we have a brief glimpse at some of the POIs on the Chapter 7 map, including a desert biome. Of course, we'll get a much better look at the new map when the fresh chapter launches at the end of the week.
How much will the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass cost?
Fortnite is free to play, but buying the Battle Pass will get you lots of additional rewards. The Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 Battle Pass will likely be available for 1,000 V-Bucks, as the usual price increased to this from 950 V-Bucks at the start of Chapter 6 – but this means it will still be enough to purchase the smallest V-Bucks bundle in the Fortnite store, priced at $8.99 / £6.99 to get 1,000 V-Bucks.
