The Vikings are coming off a loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 12, and now they are relying on finding some stability in their season. The team had some moments against Baltimore, but it ultimately struggled with turnovers and finishing drives against the Ravens.

One of the things we like to look at, apart from their record, is where the Vikings land in power rankings. ESPN's team power rankings show where the Vikings land, and they dropped in Week 12 after the loss. ESPN's power rankings heading into Week 13 have the Vikings in the 21st spot, after being 20th last week.

However, they remain behind the Green Bay Packers (7th), Detroit Lions (8th), and Chicago Bears (11th).

They always include a unique angle to their power rankings, and in this one, they had beat writers discuss each team's most notable Thanksgiving memory. Of course, they went to the Vikings' Thanksgiving Day game in which Randy Moss introduced himself to the NFL world with his big game against the Cowboys.

They write, "The idea of a 'revenge game' has grown cliché, but Moss -- a rookie at the time -- truly wanted to punish the Cowboys. Seven months earlier, a predraft meeting with owner Jerry Jones led Moss to believe the Cowboys would select him with the No. 8 pick. Instead, the Cowboys took defensive end Greg Ellis and Moss fell to the Vikings at No. 21. Moss caught only three passes in this game, but all three went for touchdowns: Two from 56 yards and one from 51. Speaking later to NFL.com, Moss recalled Vikings receivers coach Hubbard Alexander exhorting him to rest on the sideline between series. Moss: "I said, 'Man, I'm not going to need no rest today. It's the Dallas Cowboys, and it's Thanksgiving."

While the Vikings will be enjoying the holiday at home, they can also enjoy this flashback.
