Which Phillies do you think will play in the World Baseball Classic?

It happens every couple of years. It’s like the Olympics, but it involves baseball. Although the Olympics sometimes have baseball. So disregard that. The point is, the World Baseball Classic is coming. And some Phillies will be playing in it.

Phillies featured prominently on the 2023 runner-up edition of Team USA, with Kyle Schwarber, Trea Turner, and J.T. Realmuto as star-spangled sluggers. And it wasn’t just Uncle Sam asking for Fightins: all told, nine of the 20 national teams included then-Phillies (counting players in the minors). And it’s a safe bet that many national teams will be calling on Phillies for 2026.
