Hansi Flick sends ‘promise’ to Barcelona fans after Chelsea drubbing

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has sent a promise the way of the club’s supporters, in the aftermath of their alarming defeat at the hands of Chelsea.

This of course comes after the Blaugrana were brought crashing back down to earth on Tuesday night.

After enjoying a weekend of celebration courtesy of a 4-0 romp against Athletic Club in their return to the Spotify Camp Nou, Flick and co. were last night dealt a harsh dose of reality.

After making the trip to Stamford Bridge for a Champions League showdown with Chelsea, Barca were put to the sword by three goals to nil.

Not only the result, but the level of performance put forth by the visitors set alarm bells sounding back in Catalunya’s capital.

Speaking to the media with the dust having settled on the result in west London, Hansi Flick therefore made use of the opportunity to reassure those of a Blaugrana persuasion.

Drawn on his side’s display during his post-match press conference, Barca’s headmaster insisted:

“You will soon see a different Barça in the upcoming matches, I promise you that. I see how we train, and our intensity… Things are different from what they were weeks ago.”
