Los Angeles Rams offensive tackle Rob Havenstein has had a tough season, as he suffered an injury that cost him three games, and after returning for three games, he landed on injured reserve.
The 33-year-old captain may not be able to impact the game on the field at this point in the year, but he's not letting that stop him from being a great leader and mentor for his teammates and fellow offensive linemen.

"He's played a lot of football, so just learning from him and all of the tips and tricks that he's learned and able to pass down to me," McClendon said on "Rams Revealed" this week. "Just little things like meeting with before the week and during the game. Just giving me little hints like 'Hey, you're set was a little off right there. You got a little to deep right there. Just use your hands.' Having him on the sideline and practice helps a lot... After every series, he'll come up to me, and he's like 'Good series there. I saw this.'"
That level of leadership is part of the reason why the Rams are so successful. They have a lot of veteran guys who want to win and want to help their teammates be the best versions of themselves to each their goals. Havenstein is just one example of that in their locker room.
