HLB, the global network of independent advisory and accounting firms, has added HLB Ethiopia, a professional services provider in Addis Ababa, into its international community.
The addition is aimed at strengthening HLB’s footprint within East Africa and provides additional support for organisations in Ethiopia.
HLB Ethiopia delivers audit and assurance, tax, and advisory services to clients operating in diverse sectors.
HLB Ethiopia managing partner Desalegn Zewdie commented: “At HLB Ethiopia, joining HLB International is not just about global reach - it’s about local transformation. We fuse audit, tax, investment, and scientific advisory expertise to deliver clarity and impact where it matters most: in Ethiopia’s fast-changing economy.”
This latest addition is aligned with HLB’s approach to enhance cooperation with firms in emerging markets and to reinforce its service reach globally.
HLB International chief growth officer Coco Liu said: “This expansion is a direct response to the clear economic momentum in Ethiopia. With its large, young workforce and position as a gateway to regional and global markets, Ethiopia is a pivotal market for our clients.
“Establishing a local presence with the expert team at HLB Ethiopia allows us to provide the on-the-ground support necessary for businesses to navigate this promising environment, manage risks, and achieve sustainable growth.”
HLB International is a global network of independent advisory and accounting firms present in 155 countries with 51,948 professionals.
HLB stated that its name refers to its international network and one or more of its member firms, which operate as a distinct legal entity.
"HLB adds HLB Ethiopia to its international community " was originally created and published by International Accounting Bulletin, a GlobalData owned brand.
