This week, Chiefs Wire's Ed Easton Jr. spoke with NFL Films producer Jeff Cameron.
In his interview with Easton Jr., Cameron, a longtime NFL Films producer who directed HBO's new documentary 'The Shuffle' based on the 1985 Chicago Bears' iconic song and music video, discussed the short film. He shared his thoughts on the making of the documentary and his experience chronicling the Kansas City Chiefs' Super Bowl LVII victory.

As soon as we reached out to Mike Singletary, to Jim McMahon, Willie Gault and Gary Fencik, they were all really enthusiastic." said Cameron, "I think after 40 years, whatever hesitations they had when it was first being done and when it was released with all the bravado and superstition that surrounded that, I think they've come to recognize what it's become and how much people enjoy it, and how fondly it's looked back on. I think they were all really eager and great to talk to and reminisce with about the shuffle."
One of Cameron's many production projects includes Netflix's 'Quarterback' and 'Receiver' docuseries. He opened up about following Patrick Mahomes' 2022 season, which culminated in the Chiefs' Super Bowl title, as the ideal ending to the first season of 'Quarterback'.
"Of course. I mean, that's the dream to follow a player all year and to pay off with the ultimate ending," said Cameron, "I mean, it's any documentarian's dream, and the first season, it certainly worked out that way."
