PSG vs. Tottenham match details
After licking their wounds from a North London derby beatdown on the weekend, Tottenham will look to turn the page towards European football as they visit defending Champions League winners Paris Saint-German on Wednesday.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementSpurs were thrashed 4-1 by Arsenal on Sunday, humbled by their biggest rivals as the Gunners chase a Premier League title.
Thomas Frank will hope to remind his squad that the weekend slip does nothing to dent their goals in European play, as Spurs have positioned themselves to push for not only a spot in the Champions League knockout stage, but a potential playoff round bye. They currently sit 10th in the standings, just a point back of those in the all-important top eight.
Yet this road visit will present a difficult challenge regardless of form. PSG were exceptional last season as they won a first-ever European title and reached the Club World Cup final over the summer.
The Parisians have fallen from that form this year, suffering defeat to Bayern Munich in their most recent European match and in a dogfight for the Ligue 1 title, but they remain one of the most formidable sides in the world even with star Ousmane Dembele out injured.

Tottenham lineup today vs. PSG: Projected starting XI
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Vicario (GK)
Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie
Sarr, Bergvall
Kudus, Simons, Odobert
Kolo Muani
Tottenham team news
Thomas Frank welcomed back Mohammed Kudus on the weekend after he sat out consecutive games prior to the international break, with the winger joining Richarlison and Wilson Odobert in a front three. Brennan Johnson is suspended for this match while Dominic Solanke remains out with an injury, but Xavi Simons and Randal Kolo Muani could rotate into the attack.
Frank started a back three in the North London derby, with Cristian Romero, Kevin Danso and Micky van de Ven all in the XI, but it's hard to see that continuing after such an adverse result. Pedro Porro should return to the lineup, with Djed Spence rotating out.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementDespite some long travel time during the international break, Rodrigo Bentancur was named in the lineup in midfield alongside Joao Palhinha on the weekend, so either or both could be given rest with Pape Sarr, Archie Gray, or Lucas Bergvall seeing time in midfield, the latter returning from a concussion.

Tottenham injury list
Below is the latest injury picture for Tottenham, including estimated return dates for those who are sidelined.
Radu Dragusin
Injury: Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear
Expected return date: November 23, 2025
Romania international Dragusin tore his ACL in January in a Europa League clash with Elfsborg and his recovery timeline had been set at around 10-11 months. The club confirmed his rehab is on track, and Frank intends to give him game time in a friendly match during the November international break.

Injury: Thigh injury
Expected return date: November 2025
Veteran defender Davies suffered a thigh muscle injury on international duty with Wales on October 13 as his 100th cap ended in defeat to Belgium. The 32-year-old immediately left the Wales camp and Frank confirmed he would be out for "a few weeks". He won't be back until later this month.
Dejan Kulusevski
Injury: Knee injury
Expected return date: November 2025
Kulusevski's absence has been felt by club and country with the Sweden international yet to feature this season after undergoing knee surgery in May. The call to address a persistent issue was taken before Frank's arrival at Spurs, and all parties are cautious over his comeback date after he played a key role under Ange Postecoglou.

Injury: Ankle injury
Expected return date: Early December
Solanke needed a minor operation on an ankle injury in September. Thomas Frank had initially hoped the striker might be back by now, but is now targeting a return in the coming weeks.
Yves Bissouma
Injury: Ankle ligament injury
Expected return date: December 2025
Bissouma was another player injured on international duty with Frank confirming an ankle ligament damage suffered in training with the Mali squad.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder has not played for Spurs since being omitted from the UEFA Super Cup final squad for persistent lateness, and there are suggestions he could move on in January.
James Maddison
Injury: Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tear
Expected return date: June 2026
Maddison suffered ACL damage in a preseason game against Newcastle United in August, with his campaign over before it even started. The England international has left a creative gap in Frank's team, but due to the length of his rehabilitation, he's not expected to feature again this season.

Injury: Thigh injury
Expected return date: November 2025
Japan international Takai is yet to make his Spurs debut following a summer move from Kawasake Frontale, and Frank is hopeful he will be ready to join in match action in November.
