Celia Daniels’ whole operation could be about to crumble (Picture: ITV)
Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) is in control of a major criminal operation in Emmerdale, but she has made a mistake that could cost her everything.
Since her arrival in the village earlier this year, Celia’s evil has known no bounds. She has forced April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) into prostitution against her will and has slaves working on her farm.
One of these slaves is beloved villager Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards), who fell on hard times after a fallout with son Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt).
In recent scenes, he was left distraught when close friend Anya (Alia Al-Shabibi) died from an infection, which had been caused by Celia and Ray Walters’ (Joe Absolom) mistreatment of her.
At Bear’s insistence, Celia and Ray held a funeral for Anya, burying her in one of the fields of Butler’s Farm.
After making an emotional speech, Bear tied Anya’s red ribbon to a nearby tree.

Despite having made every effort to keep their trafficking ring under the radar, neither Celia nor Ray thought to remove the ribbon.
Though Celia has since taken steps to keep Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) away from Anya’s makeshift grave, she didn’t notice the ribbon fluttering in the wind…
It seems that the once-in-control Celia is letting things slip, so could she be the catalyst to her own undoing?
Celia was rocked recently by her discovery of Ray’s relationship with Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), and things haven’t been smooth sailing where April is concerned.

‘She is very much about losing control of him, but underneath that it’s about someone else loving him, he’s mine,’ actress Jaye Griffiths said of Ray’s relationship.
‘She has managed their situation because they move so frequently, that she’s the only one he relies on, the one he turns to, the one who’s forever sorting things out for him and with him. To lose that, that would mean Celia was truly alone in the universe, and I’m not sure she’s ready for that.
‘That was a one moment we could show an inch of fragility, a moment of weakness, because otherwise you just see her strolling about hurting people.’
Are things starting to get on top of Celia, causing her to act carelessly?
We know that Ruby Miligan (Beth Cordingly) took Anya in for a while when she escaped from the farm, and would likely recognise her ribbon if she saw it.

Could Celia end up letting something slip in conversation with Ruby that sparks suspicion?
