If you're looking for Christmas gift ideas for the special man in your life, Amazon's Black Friday sale has a deal I can personally attest to the value of. The Philips OneBlade 360 makes quick work of daily shaving or facial-hair grooming, and it's currently down 50% to just AU$49.99.
There's no telling how long this deal will last, so I suggest jumping on it as soon as possible to secure a device that's well worth its original asking price. Don't believe me? I bought this exact model for AU$93.76 during early Black Friday sales a little over a year ago and have exactly zero regrets.
Save 50% (AU$50)Philips OneBlade 360 + extra blade: was AU$99.99 now AU$49.99 at AmazonA moustache is about all I can grow, but my facial hair sprouts in plenty of places without actually becoming a beard. That makes the OneBlade 360 perfect for my needs – easily blasting through the fluff without needing to worry about nicks. Even our shaving expert said it "might be the perfect budget razor" in our Philips OneBlade 360 review, and that's when it cost AU$110 more than this current discounted price. It's gentle, precise and suitable for your face and body, though I'd stick to Manscaped for the third region. It's also waterproof. This deal is also available in NZ for NZ$60.08.
View DealWhile I love this handy little machine for the clean shave it provides, it truly is a jack-of-all-trades. Its double-sided blade flexes on its mount, letting it tackle hair from any direction or angle comfortably, without any nicks.
While it's perfect for my needs, our tester has more experience than I do when it comes to this category. But, while he admitted in his review that "it doesn’t excel in any one area or provide the closest shave", there isn’t much you can’t do with it.
It's a great pick-up for anyone who has struggled with shaving due to sensitive skin, as it doesn't generate much heat at all. Furthermore, its head is actually superior to most foil-shavers we've tested in terms of how it precisely covers areas.
It's easy to hold, features full weather sealing and has a great battery life. These factors make the OneBlade 360 unbeatable for AU$50. The Philips OneBlade 360 Pro and OneBlade 360 Pro Hybrid offer a similar experience with additional attachments.
That said, if you're in the market and aren't sure which is best for you (or your giftee), here are two other options currently discounted for Black Friday that offer a slightly different use case to this one.
Save 60% (AU$479.95)Philips Series 9000 Prestige Wet & Dry electric shaver: was AU$799 now AU$319.05 at AmazonIt's pricey even with a near-AU$500 saving, but we think the juice is well worth the squeeze. In fact, we consider the Philips 9000 the best electric razor that money can buy. Its innovative SkinIQ tech means the head adjusts its power automatically depending on how thick the hair is. Combined with 'Ultraflex suspension' that contours to your face and body, the result is an incredibly easy shave, making it a great choice for sensitive skin. You can also get this deal in New Zealand for only NZ$383.40.

Save 25% (AU$37.50)Manscaped The Lawn Mower 4.0 Pro: was AU$149.99 now AU$112.49 at AmazonIf facial hair comes secondary – whether you get your beard professionally done or just don't have much of one to deal with – this offering from Manscaped excels at grooming all body hair. Ideal for your groin, body, or back, the rounded ceramic blade features a built-in guard to help reduce nicks and cuts. Plus, two adjustable comb attachments (2–12mm) handle facial hair easily if you're just trimming it to varying degrees of stubble.
