TRI-CITIES, Tenn. (WJHL) – High school hoops brought the action on Tuesday with holiday tournaments across the region.
At the Hardee’s Classic, South Greene opened the night with a 57-42 win over Daniel Boone, while David Crockett edged out Chuckey-Doak 69-63 in the nightcap. Volunteer also picked up a victory earlier in the day, defeating Providence Academy 73-45.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementMeanwhile at Sullivan East, the Food City Thanksgiving Classic saw the Patriots cruise past Happy Valley 68-30. On the girls’ side, Greeneville controlled the night with a 64-26 win over the Lady Patriots.
And in the Valley Forge Auction Thanksgiving Classic, Tennessee High earned a 58-52 victory over Cloudland to advance and face University High next. Happy Valley topped University High 46-18 in the other girls matchup.
