Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has dropped some big news that Chelsea actually managed to keep quiet at the time.
Romano was actually the only one posting about this news and had the drop on it – but he has now reconfirmed this pretty big Chelsea news.

Marc Cucurella was one of the best performers on the pitch yesterday as Chelsea THRASHED Barcelona 3-0 in the Champions League. They made their opponents look very average, and the left back was a huge part of that, managing to keep Lamine Yamal very quiet indeed. In fact, the winger had an absolute stinker.
Chelsea fans had a very funny song for Yamal involving our own starlet, Estevao Willian, after he completely outshined the Barcelona player last night.
Estevao scored a superb goal for Chelsea last night when they needed that all important second goal, and he literally cooked Barcelona all game.

Cucurella has already recently been rewarded by Chelsea with an improved contract. But nothing has been officially confirmed or released by the club, and the actual details are unknown.
Romano said last night on his YouTube last night:
“I can confirm that Cucurella SIGNED an improved contract in August. It was never announced but I can confirm Cucurella is on improved contract.”

Cucurella has been absolutely superb in a Chelsea shirt for two years solid now and fully deserves the improved contract deal.
Hard work pays off and he has managed to turn things around completely at Chelsea. From being booed by a section of the fan base to being universally loved by them all now and having his own song that they sing to him.
