The Raiders have a record of 2-9. They are in last place in the AFC West division. They have dropped the previous five games.
New play-caller takes over
The Raiders fired offensive coordinator Chip Kelly after a Week 12 loss to the Browns. Interim offensive coordinator Greg Olson, who previously served as the team's quarterbacks coach, takes over a unit that is averaging just 15.0 points and 268.9 yards per game, the second- and third-fewest in the NFL, respectively.
Bright spot of the offense
Despite the offensive struggles, tight end Brock Bowers has been a key component of that side of the football. Bowers missed three games with a knee injury, but he still has 45 receptions for 510 yards and three touchdowns in eight games played.

The Raiders have played poorly at SoFi Stadium against the Chargers, holding a 1-4 record there. Their single victory came in 2020 when no fans were in attendance due to the pandemic
Subpar defense
The Raiders' defense has made key plays at times, but it's still a relatively weak unit. While stronger against the run, allowing 103.4 yards per game (14th), they rank in the bottom third of the league in several other key statistical categories, including points per game (23rd), yards per play (24th), takeaways (26th), sacks (29th), and opponent third-down conversion percentage (29th).
