Drake women's basketball mounted a second-half rally but fell to Arkansas 79-72 on Nov. 25 in the Music City Classic in Nashville, Tenn.
Quinn Vice led the Bulldogs (1-4) with 21 points. Grace Knutson added 15 while Brooklin Dailey rounded out the double-digit scorers with 11.

“I was pleased with the second-half effort for sure,” Drake coach Allison Pohlman said. “We played a team today that pressured us a little bit more, got in our space a little more, and we didn’t handle that very well. I know those are growth pieces and we’ll look back in January or February and be thankful for these opportunities, but we all really want to figure things out.”
Maggie Taylor and Abbie Aalsma led Drake with five rebounds apiece. Peyton McCabe had a team-high six assists.
Drake plays Northern Kentucky on Nov. 26 at 1:15 p.m. in Nashville.
