Injuries haven't slowed the Oklahoma City Thunder down. They're off to an NBA-best 17-1 record and plus-16.9 point differential. Despite Jalen Williams being sidelined the entire regular season so far with wrist surgery, his absence has barely been felt in their record.
Similar to last year, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has turned into a 60-win machine. The rest of the roster coming on and off the injury report has turned from concerning to shrugging your shoulders. As long as the reigning MVP is on the floor, they'll be favored in most matchups.

Wiggins has missed nine consecutive games with an adductor strain he sustained on Nov. 5. Williams has missed the entire season as he recovers from knee surgery he underwent on Sept. 29. The latter was due for a re-evaluation six to eight weeks after the procedure, which is roughly around now.
As the Thunder held practice, both Wiggins and Williams did some light work. Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault provided an injury update on the two backup forwards who could boost OKC's bench when they eventually return.
"They're progressing. They're doing well. We'll do our reporting later on today," Daigneault said. "But all the guys that are out are progressing right now.”

Williams has been the same; he even did a pregame warmup at OKC's 122-95 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday.
It'll be interesting to see if either will return in the Thunder's NBA Cup West Group A game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. They've always been cautious with injury recoveries, so don't expect either to be cleared until they're fully back.
