A recent addition to the Jacksonville Jaguars' 53-man roster by GM James Gladstone has made an immediate impact on offense.

Prior to the trade deadline a few weeks back, the Jaguars traded for then-Raiders' wide receiver Jakobi Meyers. In return, the Jaguars traded away a fourth and sixth-round picks in the 2026 NFL draft.

That has seemed like a small price to pay, given what Meyers has provided the offense.

In three games, Meyers has hauled in 12 of the 15 passes that have come his way, totaling 155 yards, with one touchdown, according to PFF.

Among all wideouts during that three game span, Meyers ranks 10th in completion rate when targeted and 22nd in yards.

As the numbers illustrate, Meyers has been a very reliable pass-catching presence for Trevor Lawrence in the passing game -- something that the drop-heavy Jaguars were missing this season.

But along with Meyer's production, he is an excellent fit for the Liam Coen offense and how it wants to operate. He can play both inside and out, attacks the middle of the field, and is a willing blocker in the run game as well.

He is playing out the final year of his current deal, which makes Meyers a free agent in 2026. However, Gladstone may not want to let Meyers get to the open market come March.
