It’s official. Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco will be available when the Chiefs travel to Dallas to take on the Cowboys on Thanksgiving Day. Chiefs coach Andy Reid confirmed Pacheco’s availability prior to practice on Tuesday.

Pacheco has been sidelined since Oct. 27 when he suffered a right knee injury against the Washington Commanders. Since then, he's missed three straight games for Kansas City. Before the injury, Pacheco recorded 78 carries for 329 yards and a touchdown on the season.
Veteran back Kareem Hunt took over as Kansas City’s lead back in Pacheco’s absence. Hunt has compiled 457 rushing yards and seven touchdowns on the season, and he’s impressed his teammates in the process.
"He's a warrior... He's someone who truly wants to win," Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said of Hunt on Tuesday. "He wants to compete. He wants to be out there for his guys... He's going to do whatever it takes to win, and you need those guys on your team."
