Indianapolis Colts' defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo is a potential name to watch this upcoming offseason when it comes to the New York Giants head coaching search.
According to NFL insider Josina Anderson, a league source says that Anarumo is "expected to receive strong consideration" for the Giants' head coaching opening.

This is Anarumo's first season as the Colts' defensive coordinator. Prior to that, he was the defensive play-caller in Cincinnati for six seasons.
At the NFL level, Anarumo does not have any previous head coaching experience.
In his first year with Indianapolis, Anarumo has quickly turned this unit around. The Colts will enter Week 13 ranked ninth in points per game surrendered and 13th in yards per play allowed.
On Tuesday, Anarumo was asked by local media -- not about the Giants specifically but generally speaking -- his thoughts on being an NFL head coach.
For now, there are still six games left in the regular season for the Colts and then the playoffs. But once we reach the offseason, interest in Anarumo from the Giants or other teams will be worth monitoring.
