It wouldn't be a normal Black Friday without any major deals on handheld gaming PCs, and two of my favorites happen to be in the mix of alluring deals. The Steam Deck LCD 256GB is now available for just $319.20 / £279.20 (previously $399 / £349), thanks to another generous 20% discount from Valve, saving you $79.80 / £69.80.
It doesn't stop there, though: the Lenovo Legion Go S Z1 Extreme is available for just $649.99 (previously $899.99) on Best Buy, with a significant $250 price drop.

The Steam Deck LCD 256GB is the easiest handheld gaming PC choice any gamer could make this Black Friday, at a very low $319.20 price. With SteamOS at its forefront, and its gaming capabilities extending to triple-A demanding titles, there's still plenty of fun to be had with this popular handheld.

Powered by AMD's Ryzen Z1 Extreme APU, the Lenovo Legion Go S SteamOS is one of the best handheld gaming PCs on the market, hands down. It's plenty comfortable for long play sessions, and it packs a punch in performance paired thanks to SteamOS, providing a streamlined console-adjacent experience.

Take your gaming anywhere you go with the Steam Deck LCD 256GB, ready to provide hours of play across a wide variety of games. It's tough to turn down at its £279.20 price thanks to Valve's 20% discount, and it's continuously improving as SteamOS receives more important patches and updates.

Save 20% (£110.02)Lenovo Legion Go S (SteamOS) Z2 Go: was £549.99 now £439.97 at AmazonDisplay - 8 inches, IPS, VRR, 1920x1200Processor - AMD Ryzen Z2 GoRAM - 16GBStorage - 1TB
The Lenovo Legion Go S SteamOS Z2 Go model performs closer to the Steam Deck, which is why you may think it's ideal to go for Valve's handheld, but the Legion Go S has an 8-inch display with a 1920x1200 display resolution, comes with 1TB of storage, and its price has been knocked down to £439.97, making it far more approachable this Black Friday.
View DealI won't sugarcoat it; my recommendation out of all choices here is definitely the Lenovo Legion Go S SteamOS Z1 Extreme, as this is going to provide you with the best performance among all of the options I've listed.
Since it's currently only on sale in the US, I'd advise UK folks to opt for the Steam Deck LCD 256GB. While it's certainly not as powerful as Ryzen Z1 Extreme handhelds, it's still worthwhile at such a low price, and is more than capable of playing popular games like Cyberpunk 2077 when adjusting graphics settings.
That's not to say that the Z2 Go model of the Legion Go S isn't good, but I'd argue its price needs to drop slightly lower to tango with its rivals.
