The Cardinals added a running back to their active roster. They signed running back Corey Kiner from the practice squad of the Minnesota Vikings to their active roster. He replaced Jermar Jefferson, who was released.

Kiner is a 5-foot-9, 209-pound rookie. He went undrafted out of Cincinnati and signed with the San Francisco 49ers. He was placed on injured reserve, released with a settlement and later signed with Minnesota's practice squad. He has not appeared in a game this season.

In his college career, Kiner spent three seasons at Cincinnati (2022-24) after one season at LSU (2021). He appeared in 45 total games (25 starts), rushing for 2,882 yards and 16 touchdowns on 556 carries. Last year at Cincinnati, Kiner started all 12 games and had 1,153 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
