Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown reflected on missing the past 10 weeks with a groin injury and the journey of his recovery.

"It's definitely been probably the toughest stretch of my career mentally, just because of the back-to-back injuries, and where I felt I was coming into the season."

Brown joined Washington prior to the start of the 2024 season and re-signed with the Commanders this past offseason. However, while his 2024 season included highlights such as hauling in a 53-yard hail mary at home against the Chicago Bears and reaching the NFC Championship game, his 2025 season has been filled with lowlights due to injury.

Brown has just played in two games this season and tallied three catches for 36 yards. His season took a 10-week pause after he suffered a groin injury in a 27-18 Week 2 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Brown was placed on Washington's injured reserve list on Oct. 15, and was activated to the Commanders' 21-day practice window on Nov. 24. If Brown cannot return to full health by the end of his 21-day window, he will remain on IR for the remainder of the season.

His fellow wide receiver, Terry McLaurin, just played his first game since Week 8 after dealing with a re-aggravated quad injury that he initially suffered in Week 3.

Despite Washington's 27-26 Week 13 overtime loss to the Denver Broncos, McLaurin added a much-needed spark in the Commanders' offense, one that Brown would add to if he is able to return.
