After a big win in Detroit and the mini-bye following a Thursday game, the Green Bay Packers were back on the practice field and starting on-field prep for the Chicago Bears on Wednesday.
Some important practice participation notes to begin Week 14:

Walker (neck) and Golden (wrist) have missed back-to-back games. Brooks (ankle) played only four snaps in Week 12 and didn't play last week. Hobbs (knee) hasn't played since Week 9. Reinforcements are coming.
-- Defensive end Lukas Van Ness (foot) and receiver Savion Williams (foot) were not able to return to the practice field to start the week. They both could be in danger of missing Sunday's visit from the Bears. Van Ness returned in Week 12 after missing five games but was able to get through only six snaps, and he didn't play against the Lions, suggesting he could miss some time moving forward. Williams has been dealing with a foot injury for over a month.
-- Receiver Jayden Reed (collarbone) continues to practice. He still needs to be medically cleared to play, but Reed looks physically ready to return after missing 11 weeks. It's possible he'll need a scan on his collarbone sometime this week to ensure it's healed enough to safely play in a game.
-- The Packers welcomed back running back MarShawn Lloyd, defensive end Brenton Cox Jr. and rookie defensive end Collin Oliver to practice. All three had their 21-day practice windows opened on Tuesday. While the trio is going to need time to ramp up after missing a lot of football, help could be coming down the road. Lloyd has explosive playmaking potential, Cox Jr. produced 4.0 sacks in only seven games last season, and Oliver is a fifth-round pick who could have potential as a designated pass-rusher and special teamer.

He was signed off the Giants practice squad and will provide depth after the Packers lost Devonte Wyatt to a season-ending injury. Riley is a big body at 6-5 and 325 pounds. He'll wear No. 97.
