By Dan GoodingShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberThe Pentagon's watchdog has concluded that U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth risked putting American troops in danger when he shared sensitive information on the messaging app Signal earlier this year, CNN reported Wednesday.
In a report set to be published Thursday, the network reported, the DOD's Inspector General said Hegseth's messages on planned strikes in Yemen contained information which was still potentially marked as classified when he pressed send.
