Tuesday’s opening day at Brighton Resort wasn’t perfect or memorable; those perfect snow days are still to come.

But judging by the smiles on skiers and snowboarders at Brighton Tuesday, it was still awesome to be on the mountain as many enjoyed their first runs of the 2025-26 season.

The Majestic and Explorer lifts operated on Tuesday, and the Bonezone Terrain Park saw plenty of action. Officials said snowmaking will continue around the clock, and the resort will open more lifts and terrain as soon as conditions allow.

Other Utah resorts have opening dates this week and in the days to come. The “epic powder” and “bluebird” days will be here soon enough.
