- Netflix has released a new clip of Kpop Demon Hunters' music group HUNTR/X
- It's appeared as part of many people's Spotify Wrapped 2025 round-ups
- Some fans are convinced the video was made using AI
Surprise! Netflix has released a new video of Kpop Demon Hunters' incredibly popular music act HUNTR/X – but some skeptical viewers think it's been created using artificial intelligence (AI).
Released today (December 3), the 10-second clip shows the trio thanking fans for listening to the hit Netflix film's soundtrack on Spotify throughout 2025. Initially, the video, which you can watch below, was only available to users whose top artist of the year was HUNTR/X. However, in the hours since the launch of Spotify Wrapped 2025, it's since appeared on social media platforms, including X/Twitter and Reddit.

With this year's edition of Spotify Wrapped going live on December 3, we have a somewhat clearer picture of how often we collectively listened to Kpop Demon Hunters' incredibly catchy songs. And we certainly streamed them. A lot.

Per Spotify, the animated movie's soundtrack was the second most-listened to album of the year worldwide, with Bad Bunny's 'DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS' the only LP to accrue more listens. Globally, Kpop Demon Hunters' 'Golden' was the seventh biggest song of 2025, too, according to Spotify's internal data.
Considering how obsessed we've been with Kpop Demon Hunters since its June 20 release on the world's best streaming service, nobody should be shocked by the popularity of its soundtrack.
Nonetheless, the fact that the record-breaking film's LP was listened to more times than new albums from pop superstars, including Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, and Billie Eilish, is testament to the flick's impact on the cultural zeitgeist.
Comment from r/KpopDemonhunters
For many, this 'thank you' message from HUNTR/X will be viewed as an endearing surprise as they scroll through their Spotify Wrapped 2025 results. However, some fans have called into question how the clip was made, with some labeling it AI-generated content.

Indeed, users have pointed out a split-second delay between the voice-only audio and the movement of Rumi, Zoey, and Mira's mouths, Zoey awkwardly being cut off by Mira, and Zoey's voice being a pitch higher than normal.
That's not to say this video is, as the kids say, AI slop. It's plausible that, if Spotify asked for a HUNTR/X 'thank you' message, Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation had to whip up something last-minute. There's an argument to be made, then, that this could've been rushed out of the door without much quality assurance (QA) testing.
Nonetheless, there is an element of uncanny valley about the clip, so I can understand why some people might think it's AI-generated. I've reached out to Netflix, Sony, and Spotify to confirm if the footage is genuine, and I'll report back if I receive a response.
In the meantime, if you're not sick and tired of watching one of the best Netflix movies of all-time, you can stream Kpop Demon Hunters on Netflix right now. Its soundtrack is also available on Spotify, Apple Music, and more of the best music streaming services, too.
