Myers Classic gets underway today as the Michigan State Spartans, now ranked #11 in the AP Poll, take on the East Carolina Pirates. Michigan State is going for 6-0 while ECU tries to get to 3-3. The results of the game do not affect the next game in the Ft. Myers Tip-Off; MSU will play North Carolina and ECU will take on St. Bonaventure on Thursday. This is probably a case of the event promoters just assuming who would win the day 1 games and wanting to be able to promote the ensuing games in advance.
Our game is at 1 PM ET and will be broadcast on FS2.
