Ivory Coast allow Ndicka to stay for Como match

Roma will need a strong showing to secure the three points for the match against Como on Monday, December 15th at 8:45 PM.

Gian Piero Gasperini will have to contend with absences due to the Africa Cup of Nations, starting with the match against Juventus on December 20th, and he’ll be able to count on Evan Ndicka against Fabregas’ men.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, first FIFA and then the Ivory Coast itself have given Roma the green light to allow the player to arrive 24 hours late for the training camp, allowing him to play regularly for the match against Como at the Stadio Olimpico, which will be played after the away matches in Cagliari and Glasgow.

The second Roma player involved in the Africa Cup of Nations is Neil El Aynaoui, who will play for his native Morocco, the host country of the competition.

The Giallorossi, after receiving the green light for Ndicka, is also awaiting the approval of the former Lens player.

The two players will miss several matches: the exact number of games will depend on how far the two national teams progress in the tournament.

During that period, Gasperini’s men will face Juventus on December 20th and De Rossi’s Genoa on the 29th, thus closing out 2025. The new year will open with Atalanta-Roma on January 3rd and Lecce-Roma on the 6th, while Fabio Grosso’s Sassuolo will visit the Olimpico on the 10th.
