Authorities are searching for a Virginia high school football coach who suddenly went missing in the midst of an undefeated season.
Travis Turner, a physical education teacher and head football coach at Union High School, was last seen on November 20, according to Virginia State Police’s missing persons website.
The gym teacher’s disappearance from Wise County, located on the border of Kentucky, has left the community shocked as the Union High School Bears entered the postseason with an 11-0 record.
In a since-deleted Facebook post, Turner’s wife, Leslie Turner, wrote that he was “missing and that’s all we know,” according to KTVU.
