The Detroit Lions have been making moves lately after they’ve been bitten with the injury bug. With playmakers like Sam LaPorta, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Terrion Arnold out with injuries, the Lions have no choice but to plan for backups and backup backups.
On Sunday, they signed tight end Giovanni Ricci, wide receiver Andrew Armstrong, and running back Jabari Small to their practice squad to account for the absences, and also released cornerback Tre Flowers to make room for other needed positions.
