Major League Volleyball held its 2025 draft on Monday, with 32 players being selected across the eight teams. For Nebraska, two seniors got selected back-to-back: Taylor Landfair and Allie Sczech.

Landfair was drafted 28th overall by the Indy Ignite. Sczech then got selected by the Omaha Supernovas 29th overall.

Landfair is in her second year at Nebraska, after spending four seasons at Minnesota. Last year, she earned 219 kills and a .215 hitting percentage across all 33 matches, helping the Huskers reach the Final Four. The Plainfield, Illinois, native is continuing her contributions this year, delivering 158 kills and hitting .322 so far.

She's got four double-digit outings this year, including a season-high 12 kills in the five-set win against Creighton back in September. Before Nebraska, Landfair played a vital role for the Golden Gophers, especially in her final two years. She won Big Ten Player of the Year in 2022 after finishing with 479 kills, 179 digs and 72 total blocks.

She now joins an Ignite team that lost in the Professional Volleyball Federation championship last season, despite earning a record of 13-15.

Sczech is in her first season with the Huskers after spending her first three years of college at Baylor. She's played in 26 sets for Nebraska this season and tallied 43 kills off 94 attacks to earn a .394 percentage. She also holds 15 blocks on the year.

At Baylor, the Sugar Land, Texas, native was a two-time All-Big 12 Second Team selection. She averaged around 250 kills across her three seasons with the Bears and 2.26 kills per set. She also earned 258 total blocks in her time at Baylor. She now joins a Supernovas team that finished last year 21-7, being knocked out by the Ignite in the Professional Volleyball Federation semi-finals.
