The New York Giants and New England Patriots closed out Week 13 with a Monday Night Football matchup in Foxborough, and the night didn't go well for the Giants.

Giants rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart got the eighth start of his rookie campaign on Monday night, and though the contest was a blowout, New York decided to keep their young signal-caller in for the entire 60 minutes.

Though taking Dart out to avoid potential injury, keeping the rookie quarterback in the game so he can get as many reps as possible was an understandable decision by interim head coach Mike Kafka.
Dart has already dealt with a concussion this season, which caused him to miss two games. The Ole Miss product returned to action on Monday versus the Patriots, and it's a great sign that he was able to finish the contest.

The Giants will have a much-needed bye in Week 14. Mike Kafka's squad will return to game action in Week 15 versus the Washington Commanders, so that'll be the next time we'll see Dart.
